10/21/2024 is the last day to register before the 11/05/2024 election.
To register to vote in Pennsylvania, you must:
- Be a citizen of the United States for at least one month before the next primary, special, municipal, or general election.
- Be a resident of Pennsylvania and the election district in which you want to register and vote for at least 30 days before the next primary, special, municipal, or general election.
- Be at least 18 years of age on or before the day of the next primary, special, municipal, or general election.
Voting by mail-in ballot is easy, fast and secure. Any qualified voter may apply for a mail-in ballot. You may simply request this ballot without a reason. Note: to request a mail-in ballot you must be registered to vote.
Voting by absentee ballot is ideal if you plan to be out of the municipality on election day or if you have a disability or illness that prevents you from going to your polling place on election day. Note: If you request the absentee ballot type, it requires you to list a reason for your ballot.
If you plan to vote by mail-in or absentee ballot in the 2024 GENERAL ELECTION held on 11/05/2024, your application must be received in the county office by 5:00 PM on 10/29/2024.
